Welcome back to Pricing Nature! We hope you enjoy this sneak peek of Season Two.
Season One focused on carbon pricing theory. Season Two, launching next Thursday, explores carbon pricing beyond cap-and-trade and carbon taxes. We cover creative ways of pricing carbon, from fees inside companies to markets for carbon offsets. We explore a new idea for payments to reduce carbon in the atmosphere. And we ask: what do we do when mitigation is not enough?
This season, we’ll speak with heroic local organizers, academic experts at Yale and beyond, YouTube royalty, one of the greatest living Sci-Fi authors, three commissioners of state-level climate policy, leaders at environmental nonprofits, and young advocates from around the world.
We’ll bring you a new chapter twice a month on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and wherever else you listen to podcasts.
We are grateful to all of you for listening. Last season had over 35,000 streams. If you like what you hear, please share this podcast with your climate curious friends and leave us a rating and review on Apple Podcasts.
